Mið-Samtún

Sheep farm, few kilometers north of Akureyri, Iceland

Mið-Samtún is located few kilometers north of Akureyri the second biggest town of Iceland.

We have a new rooster in the hen house, his name is Dúi:) He's from an icelandic breed and is very beutiful

Mið-Samtún: We are a family of four living on a small farm just outside the capital of the north, Akureyri (pop 16.000+) Our names are Inga Björk Svavarsdóttir and Einar Kristinn Brynjólfsson. We have two daughters, Jóhanna Margét 4years old, and Valgerður Telma 3 years old. We have about 150 sheep, wich are both the common icelandic breed and also Icelandic Leedershep. At the moment we have 5 ducks, 5 hens, one rabbit, few horses, 2 dogs that are called Pjakkur and Emma:) We are in the process of building up an organic farm with emphasis on self sustainability.
