A little bit more about our selves

Einar (29 years) is a farmer and studied agrigulture at the Agricultural University of Iceland in Hvanneyri in West Iceland, 2004-2006.
Inga (29 years) has studied tourism at the University of Iceland and was a manager of the tourist information center in Akureyri until recently. Inga has started her own company in marketing consulting and has an office in Akureyri's new culture house. Einar's parents own the land but we own the house and they live on the land in the old cow house(renovated for humans ofcourse:=) just few meters above our house.
We have 2 daughters, Jóhanna Margrét getting 4 years old in December and Valgerður Telma getting 3 years old in January.
We are all really interrested in nature and animals and we love everyting that includes beeing outdoor:)

Mið-Samtún or Samtyne

A small farm just outside the capital of the north, Akureyri (pop 16.000+) We have about 150 sheep, wich are both the common icelandic breed and also Icelandic Leedershep. Some ducks, hens, rabbits, horses, dogs and cats. We are in the process of building up an organic farm with emphasis on self sustainability. Making tourism an important factor also.
